Towards a new leadership culture, Nokia.
Changing a company’s leadership culture is a true challenge, especially for large multinationals. Where do you start? What role can HR play? And how do you involve the leaders themselves?
For this Circle meeting on 6 October 2016, our guest is Joel Casse, Global Head of Leadership Development at Nokia. These days, Nokia is again very succesful, particularly in B2B markets. To stay ahead of the game in the demanding tech environment, a shift in leadership culture was required. The shift towards a culture of enabling, empowering and support.
As an engaging speaker and seasoned HRD pro, Joel will share his successful approach. He will talk about the implementation of a new and simple leadership framework, the change from performance management to development for all, and how they made sure line managers – instead of HR – were in the lead of this shift.
Afterwards, building on the lessons learned from Nokia, we will discuss today’s leadership, and how to cultivate this in your organisation.
As always, we will kick off with the lively member marketplace. There will be lots of time to connect and exchange experiences with your HRD peers from other ambitious international companies.
We look forward to welcoming you with coffee at 13:30.
See you October 6th!
Stan Steverink.
